24. Wheat ripens and is harvested

Lesser ripening - wheat ripens and is harvested
Woodpeckers feed their offspring.

Bracken now waist high
Juvenile birds everywhere - a particularly good year for starling and robin
Common blue and the white butterflies join the peacock and small tortoiseshell.
