This cradle roll was found in very poor condition. The names have been transcribed and further research confirmed it as belonging to Bethlehem Unitarian Church in Newchurch.

The Museum holds a large collection of china labelled with the insignia various churches or political or self-help institutions. This led to a study of other material in the museum's collection, giving a flavour of the role that social events played in the life of the churches and chapels.
