Walk directions
From Marl Pits rec (820230) west along Newchurch Road, cross A682, on along Old Haslingden Road past Ski Rossendale; right up exit road. Then: Cribden Hill (799240) - above Stone Fold (791260) - under signal masts on Hameldon Hill (809287) - to A682 opposite Clowbridge Reservoir (825282). Around north end of reservoir - south under power lines (837276 and 840270) - B6238 at Water (841262). East (842259) to Dean (850257); south for three miles to Edgeside; cross A681 at 835217. South and west to summit of Cowpe Lowe (823206); north to cross A681 at Cloughfold (823225). Up Peel Street opposite; left down Newchurch Road to Marl Pits rec.
